As some of you know, we’ve been trying to move for a long time. Our old office had no AC, no heat, lots of bugs, and was generally just too small. Goodbye 160 sq ft; Hello 1000sq ft!!

Not only is this upgrade amazing, the rent is just about the same. However, moving always costs a lot of money and we really want to hire on another employee. So, the answer is clear… WE MUST FUNDRAISER!

In the old days, we took donations for Auditorium and were able to stay true with our promises and make it into a fully developed title. Now, it’s on the web, iPhone, iPad, and coming soon to the PS3, XBox360, and PSP! This time, we’ll be offering both Auditorium and Fractal for 50% off, lowering both titles to $4.99 for two weeks. This special moving sale promo will end on July 30th, so act fast! You will also receive a free audio track with either purchase during the sale. With Auditorium comes Autumn, our first single. Fractal comes with Iterate!, Fractal’s theme song.

Now, we must ask you all for your support (trust me, it means a lot). Here are some of the great ways you can help us keep making amazing titles.

Tell your friends and family we exist! Get them to play Fractal or Auditorium, tell them we’re a small team. Pass on our great luck story.

Write to your favorite magazine, forum, or gaming site and tell them you’d like to see some info on our games. Press is so hard for us and we really rely heavily on word of mouth. So, if you can… put in a good word!

Grab a copy of Fractal or Auditorium for 50% before the sale ends on July 30th.

Grab an Audio track for $0.99 if you already own Fractal or Auditorium. Get Autumn (Auditorium). Get Iterate! (Fractal).

Write us! Tell us who you are, what you liked, what you hated. We want to get to know you. You’re here, so you mean a lot to us already.

Subscribe to our Mailing List, RSS Feed, or follow us on Twitter so you can know when our new titles start coming out. You’ll also be notified about upcoming indie game bundles!

Beyond anything else, enjoy!

If you did anything on this list or even thought about it, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We’ve made it over two years with the support of the community and we cannot thank you enough!

You are all rock stars. Namaste.

A new office, strong software, better equipment, and a few more hands on deck. After two years of business, Cipher Prime needs to step its game up. And because we’d just as soon get a loan from a bank as we would from a loan shark, we’re doing this the old fashioned way: throwing a fundraiser.

From July 15th until July 30th, Cipher Prime is offering Auditorium and Fractal for a scant $4.99. On top of that, anyone who purchases a game will receive a free audio track from that title.

The guys at Cipher Prime aren’t the only ones getting new digs. A new design for the Cipher Prime website has been launched at www.cipherprime.com. Our old site focused on Cipher Prime, the Interactive Agency; the new one heralds Cipher Prime, the Game Company. We love what we do, and we aren’t gonna quit any time soon.

We’ve gotten where we are today because of the support of our fans – no savings, no loans, no problem! If patronage of the arts was good enough to support the likes of Galileo and da Vinci, it’s more than good enough for a couple of Philly guys trying to make cool games. So check out the Moving Sale, and we’ll see you at the new office!

For those of you who have come to see us at our old office, things are changing! As of this week, we’ve moved into our new space right on 3rd and Chestnut Street! We are overwhelmingly excited. Not only is the space 5 times larger, it’s an awesome location with great food at almost exactly the cost we were paying before. For us, this is just our dream come true. It actually feels like we’re turning into a real company =)

Unfortunately, moving takes a lot of time and money. Which means, we’re going to have a moving sale! So, what is the moving sale? Both Auditorium and Fractal will be offered at $4.99 each. We’ll be giving you Iterate ( the theme to Fractal ) with any Fractal purchase and we’ll be giving you Autumn ( the 1st Auditorium single) with any copy of Auditorium.

On top of that, we’re going to be opening up donations for the duration of the sale. This is rather huge for us and something we haven’t done since we created the demo of Auditorium. Dain and I are currently trying to figure out what we can give to anyone who donates, but rest assured we’ll figure something out. This is a really tricky time for us right now and we sincerely need your help. I promise no donation will go unnoticed. If anyone has any ideas for what we could give away for donations just let us know!

If all goes as planned it looks like the sale will start mid-next week! For anyone who is local, you know we have a few t-shirts laying around. We’ll be working on getting those online soon as well!

We’re pushing an update that will finally link Auditorium and the Cipher Prime Store! You’ll no longer need to remember two different usernames and passwords!

The update process is very simple and streamlined — all you’ll need to do is log into your Auditorium account and follow the instructions there. If you already have a CP Store account, you’ll be able to link Auditorium; if you don’t, you’ll be able to easily create one. And all of your progress in Auditorium will still be saved.

This change also means that Auditorium will benefit from the Store’s streamlined purchase process. You’ll be able to log into the store, click the Auditorium link, and be automatically logged in — and vice-versa.

So, now that our little baby has been unleashed into the wild we’ve been able to find a few of those silly bugs. We have also had plenty of feedback on the updating system and have changed over to a much better method. Unfortunately, that fix will not be present until you upgrade. In no particular order, here are the currently fixed bugs in v1.0.1:

Score Loading Bug – Scores were not always loading properly, resulting in what looked like a loss of data. If you had this bug you will now be able to see scores saved previously.

Resolution Positioning in OSX – Occasionally the screen would not center itself after a resolution change had been made.

Intermittent Black Screen on Load – Very rare, but in some cases the game would not initialize the display properly.

Windows Users Will No Longer Have to Uninstall to Update

Arcade Scoring – arcade scores will now save to the newely selected scoreboard once you change modes

Update System Changed – hitting “No” when asked to update will tell the application to ignore the update for one week

Added Native Resolution Option – this is a double-edged sword… Fractal will look fantastic, but we doubt that the performance rendered by this option will be bearable for anyone. We decided that it should be added as an option anyway, because it’s been one of the most requested features.

Random Performance Tweaks ( We are still actively working on performance related issues )

This update of Fractal is available now on the Cipher Prime Store. Please give us a holler if you find any other bugs. Enjoy!
