I just got back from Quakecon in Texas and man was it a great journey. I drove my motorcycle down a little less than two weeks ago and even fell in a ditch or two during the very long drive. Everything managed to turn out alright and I am now back in Philly, while Dain takes a much needed vacation in California for the next week and a half.
While I was away we received an amazing review from The Gadget Show on Channel 5 in the UK. They have proclaimed us as the 2nd Best Browser Based game on the internet next to QuakeLive!!! I feel like this is a great honor and we can’t thank them enough for the surprising exposure.
On top of the great review from channel five, we’ve also been written up in the Innovation Philadelphia Blog. Innovation Philadelphia is a great organization really trying to grow the entrepreneurship industry in Philadelphia. They have a pretty cool industry summit coming up soon in October that you can checkout from their site.
In other news I’ve been asked to lead a round table discussion next weekend on the 29th for the monthly Philadelphia IGDA Meeting. The four discussions that will be happening are programming, studio start-ups, design, and art. If you’re in Philadelphia and want to get involved please stop by and checkout the event. The Philly IDGA has been great and the people are fantastic!

@Simon We've been incredibly lucky, to be honest. This has definitely been an amazing experience for us so far.

Better lucky than smart, they say; or in this case, popular. On a totally different subject, how dead is this website...

@Simon I don't think it's dead at all. Everyone tends to comment more on the discussion posts rather than the press stuff. Let's be honest, the discussions are a lot more fun ;)

True... but if you just take a look at older posts, you'll notice a _huge_ decrease in the number of comments. Darn... never thought this game would be so obsessive. I've had it for barely a day and I'm nearly done with it.

Great game, needs to come the PSN though. Maybe you could also do custom soundtracks, movie / game soundtracks - that would be cool.
